Hello! I’m Megan and I am so, so excited to be in my new role as a practitioner at Eating, Elevated! I have been blessed to be a patient advocate here for the last year and have gained so much knowledge from these amazing women. I’ve been on a holistic health journey for a few years now, and am learning more every day! Helping my family & myself heal from chronic issues has been so rewarding.
For me, it started shortly before getting pregnant with my twins (Archie & Amelia). My husband and I struggled with infertility for a few years before conceiving through IVF. That process really opened my eyes to the lack of healing in conventional medicine. We were quickly labeled ‘unexplained infertility’ and the search for a root cause and healing solution was never mentioned. Rather, I was pumped full of meds and hormones and had multiple surgeries. I started to learn about all the toxins that our body has to endure on a daily basis and the havoc that they wreak on our bodies. I knew that I needed to make changes and dove right in! I haven’t stopped reading and learning since! I am so passionate about sharing what I learn with others and helping them make the steps necessary to further their own health. In the short time I’ve been a client at Eating, Elevated I have started to experience healing of nearly lifelong chronic issues most conventional doctors brushed off as “in my head” or “normal” (gut issues, anxiety & depression, acne, hormone imbalances, extremely heavy periods, I could go on and on).
A little more about me, I am passionate about Jesus and very strong in my faith, which has pulled me through some very trying times. I’m married to my soulmate, Tyler, and a mama to A & A. We also have three pups at home - Packer, a black lab/bloodhound mix, Miley, a boxer/black lab mix, and Murphy a French Bulldog; I am a huge dog person! I love spending time outdoors with my family and dogs. I live for the summer time in Minnesota, patio weather is my fave! In my spare time you will find me working out, cleaning or organizing something (huge stress reliever!), and spending time with my family and friends. I can’t wait to get to know you better and support you along your journey!
