Frequently Asked Questions

Are IVs and IMs safe?

Absolutely! All IV and IM therapies are administered by highly trained and qualified medical providers under the supervision of our medical director. Our supplies, fluids and vitamins come from medical companies that have been selected for quality and safety. We assess health history, allergies, medications, and vital signs to ensure you'll be able to safely receive our infusions or injections.

How does it work?

Call us, walk-in, or book online to make an appointment. Discuss which IV or IM option is best for you. Have your questions answered, vitals assessed, and IV placed. Sit back and relax during your infusion. Some like to bring a good book to read, some rest their eyes, others strike up a conversation. Whatever you need! Leave feeling refreshed.

How will IV therapy help you?

IV infusions promote optimal physical, immune, and emotional health. Infusions allow fluids and vitamins to bypass the gut for direct absorption into the bloodstream. Proper hydration and nutrient status cascades to affect every aspect of our health. It's critical for disease prevention, healing and detoxification.

What is the difference between IV and IM?

IV therapy involves delivering fluids and vitamins directly into the bloodstream for rapid effects and a boost of hydration. IM therapy involves injecting a smaller volume of vitamins or minerals into muscle for gradual absorption.

How long does an IV infusion take?

The total duration of an IV infusion appointment is about 1.5 hours. We take the first 15 mins to get to know your health history, discuss options, answer questions, and place your IV. The infusion then takes about 45 minutes once started.

How long does an IM injection take?

For your first IM injection, plan about 15 minutes total for the appointment. For any future IM injection, it only takes about 2 minutes total for the appointment. Efficient + effective!

How is high-dose vitamin C being used as an adjunct cancer therapy?

High-dose vitamin C infusions for cancer aim to enhance the body's antioxidant defenses, support immune function, and potentially improve the effectiveness of cancer treatments. When taken at higher doses, vitamin C transforms from being an antioxidant to being pro-oxidative. It has the ability to be toxic to cancerous cells but doesn't cause harm to the body's other cells. This therapy requires a prescription from a doctor.
